   ↑↑↑↑↑↑↑↑↑ ↑↑ ↑↑    According to the popular legend in Japan, the god Kashima using the kaname-ishi rock restrained a namazu 地震鲶鱼, a mythical giant catfish, who caused the Great Ansei Earthquake stricking the city of Edo (now Tokyo) in November 1855 by thrashing about in their underground lairs.
